Apple catching up with iPhone 5s demand, as availability reaches 100% in US stores

According to Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster, the iPhone 5s is now in stock in all storage capacities, color variants and carrier models in the 60 Apple retail stores he surveyed.

From Munster’s research note:

We believe Apple has caught up to demand, which we had expected ahead of the core holiday period. In reflecting on the supply for the 5S product launch overall, we believe that net-net Apple has done a better job in supplying stores with phones proportional to demand.

Apple’s suppliers reportedly had a hard time producing enough Touch IDs, but it seems they’ve ramped up production to meet the demand. Most iPhone models on Apple’s online store are listed as available to ship in 1-3 days, except the contract-free unlocked iPhone 5s, which is available to ship in 5-7 days.

Let us know if you’ve bought an iPhone 5s recently, and if so were you able to find the desired model easily.
