Kirby Ferguson is a filmmaker who produced a 4-part series named Everything is a Remix, highlighting how Remix Culture is an important part of our society.
Ferguson recently released an iPhone edition of the “Everything is a Remix” video series, noting how Apple took inspiration from various sources, and combined it all together in a neat, easy-to-use, affordable package called the iPhone.

In a separate video on TED, Ferguson highlights Steve Jobs’ almost contradicting views about copying. From a Steve Jobs interview in 1996:
We have always been shameless about stealing great ideas.
And in his biography in 2010:
I’m going to destroy Android because it’s a stolen product. I’m willing to go thermonuclear war on this.
