Here’s a sneak peek at Springtomize 3

springtomize_3

If the wait for the iOS 7 jailbreak is not agonising enough, Cydia developers are making it even more difficult by giving us a sneak peek of new jailbreak apps and tweaks for iOS 7.

Filippo Bigarella, developer of popular jailbreak app called Springtomize, has just revealed that he is working on Springtomize 3 for iOS 7, and given us a sneak peek of what to expect.

In case you’re not aware, Springtomize allows you to customize every aspect of the iOS. With Springtomize you can do things such as increase the number of apps in the dock to 10, give the dock a cool coverflow effect, change the duration of the system-wide animations, remove the page limits, customize the default animations, customize the lock screen, enable app switcher in landscape mode, hide icons of stock apps, resize icons and lots more. It also allows you to enable features such as Panorama, HDR etc. on iOS devices, which doesn’t support these features.

According to Bigarella, Springtomize 3 will be a completely new product, which has be rewritten from ground up, completely re-engineered, and will include support for iOS 7.

Bigarella says that the development is still in early stages, but has published a screenshot that gives a sneak peek of what to expect. As you may have noticed in the screenshot above, it gives the concave coverflow effect to the icons even on the Home screen. It was previously possible to do this only for icons in the dock.

It is still too early to talk about the release date and pricing, but Bigarella says “don’t worry, you won’t be disappointed” about pricing. Springtomize 2 has been available on Cydia for $2.99.

Springtomize has been one of my favorite tweaks, so I can’t wait for it to be released. Of course, for that to happen, we also need the iOS 7 jailbreak. If you’re wondering what’s the status on the iOS 7 jailbreak then there haven’t been any updates from the evad3rs team worth reporting since our last status update. But jailbreak tweaks like this Springtomize 3 should make the wait worthwhile.

We’ll let you as soon as there are any further updates about the jailbreak tweak, so stay tuned here at iPhone Hacks or join our Facebook Fan pagefollow us on Twitteradd us to your circles on Google+ or subscribe to our RSS feed.
