Apple announced earlier today that it will be holding a press event on October 22nd at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, California. Though details on a public live stream of this event are not available, the company is apparently streaming the event for a select group of media and for Apple employees
According to 9to5Mac, Apple will hold a press event in London at the Kings Place Hall and will provide media attendees with a live stream of the October 22nd event. At the same time, the company is also streaming the presentation to Apple offices worldwide, allowing employees to watch the event as it unfolds. Like it does with most events, the October 22nd shindig also will be available to watch on Apple’s website and on iTunes a few hours after the presentation is over.
It’ll be interesting to see whether Apple fires up the live stream for the public next week. In the past, Apple typically has provided a stream at events that have been held in the larger Yerba Buena center. Fingers crossed that it does so again.
