Few days back we covered FlipControlCenter, a cool jailbreak tweak by Ryan Petrich that allows you to customize Control Center toggles.
CCControls is a new jailbreak tweak that takes things to a whole new level.
The jailbreak tweak not only allows you to add more toggles to Control Center and change their position, but it also lets you change the look and feel of the toggles by applying themes.
You can choose from a wide range of themes for the toggles such as the default iOS 7 theme in either blue, green & red or black & white colored outline. Alternatively, you can opt for toggles with solid colors as you can see below.
If you don’t like the circular toggles then you can change them to square with colored outline or solid colors, or square with a line at the bottom as you can see below.
Here’s a look at the Control Center with customized toggles:
The thing that really sets this jailbreak tweak apart from rest of the iOS 7 jailbreak tweaks we’ve seen so far is its Settings page, which is very well designed, and makes Apple’s Settings panel for native apps look bland.
In addition to the ability to change the look and feel of the Control Center toggles, it offers the same features as FlipControlCenter. So it gives you quick access to the following new settings and features in addition to default ones in Control Center:
- Settings (Quick access to the Settings app)
- Respring
- Auto Lock
- VPN
- Vibration
- Hotspot
- Location Services
- Flashlight
- 3G
- Ringer
You can rearrange the position of these toggles using the tap, hold and drag gesture. You can also disable a toggle by dragging it under the disabled section.
You also have an option to hide toggles when you access Control Center from the lock screen via Settings app (Settings > CCControls > Lock Screen Restrictions).
It also allows you to configure how many toggles switches you want to access per page. So you can increase it to 6 or decrease it to just 2 switches per page or make it unpaged, instead of 5 toggles.
Here’s a video walkthrough of the jailbreak tweak:
CCControls developed by Dany Lisiansky is available for free on Cydia. Please note that the tweak doesn’t support 64-bit A7 chip, so it won’t work on iPhone 5s, iPad Air or Retina iPad mini. It’s easily one of my favorite jailbreak tweaks for iOS 7 so far, and can’t wait to use it on my iPhone 5s.
As always, let me know what you think in the comments below.
