Want a sneak peek at the upcoming 5th generation iPad that Apple is expected to announce on October 22nd? Then check out some of these images obtained by well-known Apple leaker Sonny Dickson.
The images posted by Dickson give us perhaps the clearest and most detailed look at the iPad 5 to date. The series of high-resolution images reveal a device that has shed it’s rounded styling ands replaced it with the thin, boxy design that matches the iPad mini. The next iPad may be lighter than the iPad 4 thanks to smaller bezels around the screen that allows Apple to trim some fat from the casing.
Hardware-wise, the iPad 5 is rumored to include the A7 processor, an improved camera module and possibly the TouchID fingerprint sensor. Colors for the iPad 5 should include a silver/white option and black/space gray option that debuted with the iPhone 5s. The space grey will replace the current slate option and will offer a slightly lighter shade of grey. You can check out the styling and coloring of the iPad 5 in the Dickson’s images included in this post. Apple is expected to unveil both the fifth-generation iPad and the second-generation iPad mini during an event to be held on October 22. Besides the iPads, Apple may also reveal additional details on OS Mavericks and the Mac Pro.
